Peer Review Policy
JETIA is published and maintained by Editora de Artigos e E-books JETIA Eireli, which assumes institutional responsibility for editorial policy, scientific integrity, and the continuity of publication.
JETIA adopts the Double Blind Peer Review model. All manuscripts undergo an initial screening, followed by evaluation by at least two external reviewers. The evaluation criteria include originality, methodological rigor, scientific relevance, clarity of writing, and compliance with editorial guidelines. Manuscripts that fall outside the journal’s scope or present formal inconsistencies may be rejected prior to peer review.
Accepted manuscripts undergo technical revision, formatting, and scientific integrity verification (using Copysider software). The journal follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and requires compliance with ethical standards in research and publication.
JETIA adopts the Double Blind Peer Review model with the following steps:
- After editorial screening (scope, originality, ethics, and formatting check), manuscripts are sent to two external expert reviewers in the subject area;
- Reviewers provide a technical evaluation based on criteria such as originality, scientific relevance, methodological soundness, clarity of language, and adherence to journal standards;
- In case of conflicting reviews, a third reviewer is assigned;
- The Section Editor analyzes the reviews and submits a recommendation to the Editor-in-Chief;
- Authors receive the reviewers’ comments with possible requests for revision, and the manuscript may be accepted, revised, or rejected;
- The final editorial decision is reasoned and definitive.
The average review process time is up to 60 days.
JETIA maintains a reviewer database, adopts mechanisms to verify conflicts of interest, and uses similarity detection software (plagiarism screening).
