About the Journal

JETIA – Journal of Engineering and Technology for Industrial Applications (e-ISSN: 2447-0228 | DOI prefix: 105935) is an Open Access scientific journal published exclusively in digital format by the Galileo Institute of Technology and Education of the Amazon (ITEGAM), based in Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil.

Launched in 2015, JETIA's mission is to disseminate technical and scientific knowledge with industrial applicability and social impact, fostering dialogue between academia, the productive sector, and society, with a focus on the needs of the Amazon region and the Global South. The journal accepts original submissions in English and operates under a continuous publication model, organized into bimonthly volumes. It is governed by the Creative Commons license CC BY 4.0, which ensures free access and sharing of its content.

Periodicity and Languages

Since 2020, the journal has published six issues per year on a continuous basis, with volumes released in February, April, June, August, October, and December. It accepts articles written in English, including in thematic dossiers and special calls.

Each issue may include up to 50 articles, following editorial quality standards. The continuous publication model aims to accelerate the dissemination of scientific knowledge and keep content permanently up to date.

ARCHIVE

ITEGAM-JETIA uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among the participating libraries and allows the creation of permanent daily archives for preservation and restoration.
