In recent editorial periods, the journal has experienced growth in the number of published articles, as a direct result of a strategic process of restructuring and optimization of the editorial workflow. This initiative aimed to enhance the efficiency of the submission, review, and publication stages, without compromising the scientific and ethical quality standards adopted by the journal.

The restructuring involved revising internal guidelines, standardizing evaluation criteria, and expanding the pool of reviewers, enabling greater agility in manuscript processing. At the same time, the optimization of the review process contributed to reducing the average response time to authors, while maintaining the rigor of peer review and strengthening the transparency and consistency of editorial decisions.
