Policy of commitment to open science
Open Science Commitment Policy
1. Transparency and Reproducibility
Authors are encouraged to provide detailed descriptions of their methods, materials, statistical procedures, and data sources to ensure that their research can be reproduced or verified. Where applicable, the use of FAIR repositories (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) is recommended.
2. Open Access and Copyright
JETIA adopts the Gold Open Access model, ensuring free, immediate, and unrestricted access to all published articles. This means that the content is available for reading, downloading, copying, distribution, and reuse by anyone, anywhere in the world, provided that proper attribution is given to the original authors.
All articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing broad dissemination and reuse, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and the original source of publication.
Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication, in accordance with the terms of the license.
To ensure the sustainability of the journal and to cover operational costs related to editing, peer review, typesetting, platform maintenance, archiving, and indexing, JETIA charges an Article Processing Charge (APC), payable only after the final acceptance of the manuscript.
3. Digital Preservation
The journal uses the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system and preservation policies compatible with OJS (Open Journal Systems), ensuring the longevity, integrity, and permanent accessibility of the published content.
